Richard Adams graduated from James Madison University in 1981 with a Bachelor of Music.  On Novermber 9, 1980, he, along with 13 other dedicated bandmembers from the Marching Royal Dukes, founded the Eta Omicron Chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi.  32 years later, more than 450 members of the JMU band program have committed themselves to serve college and university bands.  Our dedication to music and service grows only more powerful as we continually strive for the highest.

32 years and going strong. AEA!
